Have you ever felt frustrated because the expectations you were raised with didn’t match who you really are?
Have you ever felt awkward around others, like you don't fit in?
Have you ever felt a need to people please and apologize for taking up space?
Well then, this space is for you!
I am a photographer, writer and educator. I support women who feel lost, discouraged and unfulfilled to express themselves and feel seen. understood and inspired. I have often found myself feeling like an outsider myself, whether as an introvert, artist, half-Scottish Jewish girl in the south or some other aspect of who I am.
The experience of feeling like an outsider is also one I have learned about through my personal work on transforming the mother wound- my own. I have learned that relational traumas are best healed in a relational setting. Therefore, I strive to create a safe space for women to express themselves and be celebrated.
My journey to create a life I love began after I graduated college and was trying to figure out what to do with my life. It led me to do something with my passion for photography, which led me to an MFA program and teaching in Community Colleges, but so much still felt like a struggle. After many years of not finding the kind of relationship I hoped for, I took Katherine Woodward Thomas' class, Calling In the One and then her Love Mastery Coach Training. I took Christine Arylo's Path of Self-Love Guide Training and Certification program. Still looking for more, I signed up for Martha Beck's Wayfinder Life Coach Training. After completing each of these trainings, there was still something missing, and I was led to the Mother Hunger work by Kelly McDaniel, and that became the WHY behind everything I do as a coach.
But even as an MFA student, my thesis was actually a way of healing and sharing my mother wound experience, though I didn't know it at the time.
Throughout my journey, feminism and women's empowerment has been a huge part of my why, as well as my identity. I can truly thank my mom for introducing me to that- she took me to see Gloria Steinem when I was in middle school. For that, I am endlessly grateful!
I have been on a journey to create a life I love, and I want to take you with me.
